Directions to “The Palatine”

“The Palatine”, the CRCofA first road race of the season, and the Black River Course, a few weeks after “The Palatine”, both start and finish near the small town of Pottersville, less than a mile south of where the Somerset, Hunterdon and Morris County lines converge.  Technically, parts of Pottersville are in both Somerset and Hunterdon Counties.  “The Palatine” is considered to be one of our more difficult courses as there is a 1 mile dirt uphill climb and several other shorter climbs.

Since we are ‘invading’ a neighborhood for an afternoon, we ask that all participants please park on one side of the road, leaving room for the minimal traffic in the area to get by with no problems.
